Alice Beal Baker Hyde Papers, 1897-1972

Extensive family correspondence, including courtship letters from fianceĢ, Mark Hyde; family photographs, including albums; and Hyde's slides of London, Greece and Cape Cod, with notes and commentary. Hyde wrote a small amount of her correspondence while undergoing training in psychiatric social work at state hospitals in Boston and Detroit, circa 1919 to 1921. A short story and several essays by Hyde are also included.
